Services

As a trauma-informed therapist, I use a variety of techniques to help unlock, process, and heal trauma that is stored in the mind and body. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I am also Internal Family Systems (IFS) informed. I have found these methods to be most beneficial to clients who struggle with a range of problems, from complex trauma to your everyday, "run of the mill" issues that seem to just make people feel stuck in life. I believe that there is not a "one size fits all" type of therapy, and I aim to fit the therapy experience around my clients' unique needs. You are the expert on what you are feeling and how you are experiencing life. My job is to help you find your most true, authentic self. I am Catholic myself, so for clients who are Christian, I am happy to bring faith-based practices into the therapy process as well. I find that merging the science of mental health with the Christian life has allowed those clients to find purpose and meaning within the healing process while strengthening their own walk in faith.

I work with adults on an individual level who are looking for treatment for PTSD, anxiety, depression, anger issues, and those needing to learn healthy coping skills to manage daily stressors. I have a special place in my heart for police officers and first responders, as well as active and former military personnel. I also enjoy working with men who struggle with their roles as husbands and fathers, and who are looking for help in this area.
